1. Who we are

Ardaron provides managed engineering, procurement and sourcing services to companies delivering data-center and mission-critical infrastructure projects.

For personal data collected through this website, Ardaron acts as the data controller. Where we process personal data on behalf of a client in the course of a delivery engagement, we act as a data processor under written instructions and a separate data-processing agreement.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to enquiries and to run a commercial relationship.

• Contact form data: first name, last name, company, work email, phone number (optional), country, requirement type and the content of your message.
• Correspondence: emails and messages you send us, and our replies.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and pages viewed, collected through analytics where you have consented.
• Cookie preferences: your recorded choice to accept or decline analytics cookies.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

• To respond to your enquiry and to prepare a proposal — legal basis: legitimate interests (responding to a business enquiry you initiated), and steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
• To manage an existing commercial relationship — legal basis: performance of a contract, and legitimate interests.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it — legal basis: consent, given through the cookie banner.
• To comply with legal, accounting and regulatory obligations — legal basis: legal obligation.

4. What we do not do

• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not use personal data for advertising or advertising profiling.
• We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
• We do not send marketing email to enquirers who have not asked for it.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site uses strictly necessary cookies, which are required for it to function, and optional analytics cookies, which are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner. Full detail is set out in our Cookie Policy.

6. Sharing

We share personal data only where it is necessary, and only with parties bound by confidentiality obligations.

• Service providers who host this website, deliver form submissions and provide analytics, acting under contract on our instructions.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting, insurance) where required.
• Public authorities where we are legally required to disclose.

7. International transfers

Ardaron operates a delivery base in Morocco, and personal data may be accessed by our personnel there. Morocco is not currently the subject of an EU adequacy decision, so such transfers are made under appropriate safeguards — in practice, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and, for UK data, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum) supported by technical and organisational measures.

8. Retention

Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and, where a commercial relationship follows, for the duration of that relationship plus the period required by applicable statutory, accounting and limitation rules. Enquiries that do not lead to a relationship are deleted within 24 months. Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 14 months.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact contact@ardaron.com. We will respond within one month. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

10. Complaints

If you believe we have handled your personal data improperly, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the EU, the data-protection authority of the member state where you live or work; in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business develops. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect.
