Ardaron is not a recruitment business and does not place individual engineers into client teams. What we sell is a delivery scope: agreed deliverables, an agreed standard, a named coordinator, an internal quality review before anything is issued, and a reporting line into your project manager.

The practical difference is where the management load sits. Under a staffing model your team screens candidates, onboards them, supervises their output and carries the risk when someone leaves. Under a managed model that sits with us. You review deliverables, not people.

A pod is a standing team with one point of contact. It holds project knowledge between packages, which is what makes the second and third scope faster and cheaper than the first.

Engagement models

Three ways to buy capacity.

  • Dedicated pod

    A standing team assigned to your programme, sized to your workload and reporting to your project manager. Best where the workload is continuous and project knowledge compounds.

  • Defined work package

    A fixed scope with defined deliverables, acceptance criteria and a delivery date. Best for a first engagement or a discrete package — a model, a coordination scope, a take-off or an estimate.

  • Overflow support

    Short-notice capacity against an existing team’s backlog, in your environment and templates. Best for bid periods, resubmissions and programme peaks.

Quality and control

How quality is held.

  • Standards alignment at setup

    Templates, families, naming conventions, the BIM execution plan and level-of-detail expectations are agreed and documented before production starts.

  • Internal QA gate

    Nothing is issued without a documented internal review against the agreed standard and the deliverable checklist.

  • Senior technical oversight

    Discipline-level review by an experienced engineer on model quality, constructability and coherence with the design intent.

  • Revision and change control

    Versioning, issue registers and a documented route for scope change, with programme and commercial effect stated before work proceeds.

  • Escalation route

    A named coordinator and a defined escalation path, so a technical or delivery issue reaches a decision quickly instead of sitting in an inbox.

  • Client approval gates

    Deliverables are issued for client review at agreed hold points. Direction and approval remain with your engineering organisation throughout.

  • Where the data sits

    The default is that models and documents never leave your common data environment: our teams work inside it under your permissions, and access is revoked on completion. Where you prefer us to host, storage region and retention are agreed in writing before anything is transferred.

Ardaron provides design and delivery support under the client’s engineering direction. Design authority, statutory approvals, professional sign-off and certification remain with the client or its appointed designers.
